The Children's Ministry Program

Here children learn about God and to live and love like Jesus taught. Through Sunday School, Children's Moments, and special activities, we are dedicated to guiding and developing each child's spiritual life. We hope our children will feel God's love from their church family and know that church is home -- a place of warmth, love, and sanctuary for each one.

Sunday School for Children
(3 to 7 years old): 9:30 to 10:30

Using a Bible-based curriculum, FUMC provides a class for all children from three to seven years old in the Little School's 3-year old classroom. The teacher, Aleta Spears, aims to give the children a sense of what it means to live in a Christian community, along with basic knowledge of our faith's foundational stories.

Sunday School for PreTeens
(8 to 12 years old): 9:30 to 10:30

Jane Treece will teach this class in the Bethlehem Room off the Great Hall. Spread the word and invite someone to come join the celebration as we study the word of God.

Nursery (newborns to 2 years old)

Nursery is provided during the Sunday School hour and Worship service -- for newborns through two year olds. The nursery is staffed with a loving and caring individual -- Ms. Faye (Faith Ellison) -- who truly delights in our children.
