Little School of the United Methodist Church Covington (FUMCCOV)
Founded in 1971, Little School is a ministry of FUMCCOV for preschool and prekindergarten students. Little School's goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment promoting the physical, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive development of young children while responding to the needs of families. All Little School programs are open to every child, regardless of race, nationality, or creed.
Preschool
Offered to 3- and 4-year olds, preschool furnishes a variety of stimulating and challenging hands-on experiences, including field trips. Preschool emphasizes preparing for rather than learning academic skills.

Prekindergarten
Children who are age-appropriate to attend kindergarten the following year comprise the prekindergarten classes. We use the revised edition of Lippencott's Beginning to Read, Write, and Listen program to teach language arts.

Lunch Bunch
This is an extended time available to children enrolled in the school. Children bring a lunch and then participate in supervised games and play until 2:45PM.
